Mr. Pyle graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1992 with an AB in history and joined the firm after receiving an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1999.  Prior to business school, he was an Associate at TA Associates where he was involved in making investments in the software, computer services and telecommunications industries.  Before joining TA, he was a financial analyst in the Technology Group at Alex Brown & Sons.  Mr. Pyle focuses on the IT and IT services part of the portfolio and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Intellireach, and GuardedNet.  He holds a Board Observer seat at Viola Networks and was previously on the Board of Fusepoint Managed Services and DefendNet (sold to Guardent/Verisign).
